Description
Buyers Products SaltDogg Hydraulic Under Tailgate Spreader with Extended End Plates is the perfect way for contractors and municipalities to convert their dump trucks into winter warriors. It can handle bulk sand, salt, and 50/50 salt/sand mixes and works with 96in. wide dump bodies. The spreader is built with corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate and extended end plates to accommodate taller trucks. A 6in. auger with 3/8in. flighting and a hydraulic safety lockout provides steady material flow. A hard faced auger is also available to suit your application. An auger screen is included to help break up clumps and prevent jams, and a three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleaning. Spread material 2 to 40ft. using a center or driver’s side discharge with the 18in. poly spinner. A direct hydraulic drive system powers the auger and spinner’s independent low-speed, high-torque orbital motors. It features a sealed, self-aligning 1-1/4in. diameter bearing with grease fittings.
