Buyers Products SaltDogg Hydraulic Under Tailgate Spreader is the perfect way for contractors and municipalities to convert their dump trucks into winter warriors. It can handle spreading bulk sand, salt, or 50/50 salt/sand mixes and fits 96in. wide dump bodies. The spreader is built to last with corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate and a hydraulic safety lockout. Its 6in. auger with 3/8in. flighting provides steady material flow. An auger screen is included to help break up clumps and prevent jams, and a three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleaning. Spread material up to 40ft. with the 18in. poly spinner (available with standard, center, or driver side discharges). The spreader is also available in direct drive or 5:1 gearbox configurations. Both systems feature sealed, self-aligning 1-1/4in. diameter bearings with grease fittings and low-speed, high-torque orbital motors.
