Description
Buyers Products SaltDogg Electric Under Tailgate Spreader is an ideal choice for trucks that are not equipped with a central hydraulic system. It can spread bulk salt and 50/50 salt/sand mixes and works with 96in. wide dump bodies. The spreader is built with corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate and an auger screen to help break up clumps and prevent jams. A 6in. auger with 3/8in. flighting is powered by a 3/4 HP motor to provide steady material flow. A three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleaning. The 14in. poly spinner, powered by an independent 1/2 HP motor, spreads material 2 to 25ft. A sealed, self-aligning 1-1/4in. diameter bearing with grease fittings ensures the spreader operates at peak performance. The spreader is controlled by a heavy duty, in-cab controller with independent variable speeds for the auger and spinner. Available with standard or center discharge. Additional options, such as a stainless steel spill shield, are available. Call for more information.
