The SunStar SPU40-20-TG-L5 Tough Guy U-Tube Propane Heater is a compact solution, delivering 40,000 BTU of heat across a 20-foot U-tube, ideal for small commercial garages and localized zone heating. Part of the durable Tough Guy line, this Propane-fired model utilizes a positive pressure system to ensure efficient heat transfer. The U-tube design maximizes the radiant surface area in a small footprint. The SunStar SPU40-20-TG-L5 Tough heater is a reliable, economical, and space-saving choice for consistent, comfortable warmth in demanding light commercial applications, providing focused radiant heat directly to the work area.
Description
The SunStar Garage Tube Heater is ideal for residential garages, vestibules, entryways, workshops, enclosed patios, restaurants, smoking shelters, small greenhouses, hard-to-heat small areas and low-ceiling height applications. Low intensity radiant heat can save up to 30% in fuel savings over convection warm air heating. Heaters can be controlled by a line voltage thermostat (sold separately). If preferred, the heaters can be controlled by a 24V Thermostat and a 24V Thermostat Relay Kit (both sold separately).
NOTE: In residential garage applications, the heater must be vented outside through sidewall or the roof. In commercial/industrial space heating applications, the heater can be indirectly vented (optional exhaust hood sold separately). Please review the detailed Installation & Operating Instructions (attached) for other specific installation requirements (gas pressure, ventilation etc.) prior to purchasing the heater.
