This heavy-duty, 3-phase JET Geared Head Lathe with Taper Attachment and Collet Closer weighs over 1 ton and comes equipped with precision induction hardened ground bed-ways, spindle roller bearings, and high-quality steel hardened gears in the headstock for the ultimate working durability. The enclosed gearbox design, standard coolant system, and lead screw cover provide smooth and quiet operation while maintaining peak performance. Includes a patented electronic chuck key docking station that prevents startup without the chuck key when safely docked. Features a 14in. swing over bed and 40in. distance between centers. 40 inch threads/ 23 metric threads. Item too large for lift gate. Forklift required for on site unloading.
