High-quality, solid steel cutting heads are rated for continuous shredding, minimizing downtime while shredding paper, staples, paper clips, credit cards, and CD/DVDs. HIPAA and FACTA compliant, and certified to shred Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), it’s federally accepted to protect information and social security numbers against identity theft. Built with a high-quality, wooden, easy-open cabinet on casters, the 4005 shredder is equipped with a large, 16” feed opening and powerhouse, impact-resistant, and easily-removable 44-gallon bin. The large but quiet 2 1/8 horsepower motor chews through 26 sheets of paper at once and up to 1101 sheets per minute and requires a dedicated 20 amp line.
