Buyers Products SaltDogg Hydraulic Carbon Steel Under Tailgate Spreader is the perfect way for contractors and municipalities to put their dump trucks to work in the winter. It can handle spreading bulk salt or 50/50 salt/sand mixes and works with 96in. wide dump bodies. Made of durable carbon steel with a corrosion resistant orange power-coated finish, the spreader features an anti-flow plate and a hydraulic safety lockout system. The spreader is equipped with a 6in. auger with 3/8in. flighting and comes with an auger screen to help break up clumps of material and prevent jams. A three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleaning. The spreader is available in direct drive and 5:1 gearbox configurations. The 18in. poly spinner spreads material 2 to 40ft. Additional customizations, including hard-face flighting and stainless steel spill shields, are available.
